Coasts recently released a statement on Social Media reading:
“It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to end Coasts. This is one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make but we ultimately feel that it is a positive one. We have reached a point in our lives where we want to explore different avenues.
We started this band as five best friends and we’ll finish it as five best friends. Coasts has been our lives for the past 10 years and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. We’ve had the most amazing time and we’ve achieved more than we could ever have dreamed of. We’ve released two albums that we love very much, we’ve played shows all over the world, met some truly amazing people and made memories for life.
We want to thank each and every one of you who has supported us along the way, we wouldn’t have made it this far without you and we want to celebrate with you one last time…
The UK tour in October is going to be our final tour as Coasts and it would mean everything if you could be there to celebrate with us! This farewell tour will culminate with a massive show in London at Shepherd’s Bush Empire on October 28th where we will be playing a huge collection of our songs for one last time. We hope that as many of you as possible can make it to the show to end this story with us in style.”
